Time Flies By

I didn't realize that it had been almost 2 weeks since I wrote something. Sorry. I guess the days are just all running together as of late.

So to start out I'll hook it up with a club jam that I got a long time ago but didn't listen to for a while. It's pretty grimey...

So put that on. You'll get pumped for whatever you got to do.

I went to London for mother's day. It was a fun trip. Luckily, I didn't have anything due last week so I could just enjoy myself over the weekend and not have to worry about studying or anything.
We got there on Friday after a medium-length drive in the car with a pause at Quick burger before parking the car on the Chunnel Train and flying under the sea on rails.
Went out from the hotel before our dinner on Friday and decided after a quick walk that we might as well go into the city to Regent Street. So we got there, walked around a little bit because we only had an hour and a half or something like that, and went into the TOP SHOP! cause my sister wanted to go but said she didn't. (As this happens alot, I have figured out that she means the opposite of what she says and I just say that I want to go in so she can feel free about not being the one that got herself into the shop. if that makes sense.) Ended up being a really cool place. I walked around for about 20 minutes looking at stuff and decided that i was going to buy some shirts. Yes, even I shop occasionally. I felt like I coulda left that place with 10 shirts that fit me well and look like my normal i-dont-care-what-you-say-about-my-shirt fashion sense. I wouldn't have minded getting a few more, but at around 35 euros a pop. Damn. Worth it though. It's a must see in London if you think you might wear something that I might wear.

Then we went over to the Doshi's (which are actually the people that own the house my parents house here in Paris) house for Indian food. I was complemented for my looks a few more times than I was comfortable with. Apparently, I have changed exponentially for the better since my last visit to Paris in...10th grade I think. At least I know I'm popular with Middle-aged Indian women. Rad. The food was excelent though.

The next day we went out after breakfast, walked around on Regent street again then went to Wicked. Really good musical. We were lucky to see it with all the principals. I just was looking for a picture of Kerry Ellis, the singer who played Elphaba (the wicked witch of the west), and I read that her last show was May 9th. That was the day we saw it. That's pretty crazy. Anyway, she blew most of the rest of the cast out of the water, but all around it was really good.
Okay I just looked to see if I could back that up. That was just some idiot writing about something he didn't know about. I guess she's still there. Whatever.

Then we went to eat at some nice restaurant with some family friends. I had some great fish, though was really annoyed by the fact that I had to pick out bones all the way through it. Then we met up with my friend Andy who's there doing a month-long study abroad thing. The touristy part of London really sucks for nightlife though. We couldn't find a good pub that wasn't full and hardly anything else was open. Also, what's with the Underground closing so early? I don't think I would like living there, but it's always a nice break from Paris.

Since that trip, I haven't done much. School was pretty easy this week. I had one final which I think went okay. Unfortunately, I don't know when my other finals are. Oh well, I'm sure I can just ask this coming week and figure it out.

I'll leave you with this. It's a song from Wicked.

BONUS:
Cause I posted about Mobb last time and found this game song on my iTunes that I was looking for that uses the beat for Shook Ones. Enjoi
