10 days later.

Hey. My birthday was cool. If you were there, you know, if you weren't and we talk you've probably asked me about it by now so you know. If you haven't, you're dead to me. :)

So at what is pretty much the close of summer I've decided to let you in on my super summer slams playlist. It's dope. Some of the songs are kinda moody like a long hot summer day and some are fun, energetic, poppy, or all of those things.

I put all the songs on media fire in an AAC file but have since realized that if you aren't a frequent blogosphere downloader, you might not have the converter. If you want any of the songs that i've posted, then just give me a shout (we're probably acquaintances on facebook) and i'll put the song up. Hell you know what, I'll just put them all up now. I'm sitting in the Ritchie center enjoying the over-airconditioned arena and I'm quite comfortable. Plus, the DU internet is currently uploading my shit at 6000 kb/s. That's pretty fast.

***edit*** i'm not user pro so I can't put a 349 mb file on their site. So individual files we go...

I'll put them in two files (cause I don't think I can have just one file full of the same 390some meg of music goldenness.

I'll list all the songs and put the link at the bottom. I'm doing this for those of you that like listening to music enough to just put it on for a while and jam. Also, there are probably some songs you will not like. I put stuff in here that I think characterize summer, not things I think everyone in the world should love at first listen.

I didn't end up leaving to go backpacking/camping today cause max and grant needed to finalize their lease. Now they + john and nick have a house though so it was worth it. We'll leave tomorrow to get a good start on the hike into Indian Peaks Wilderness. Thankfully, my chest cavity still hurts quite alot when I wake up, so the trip should be just as enjoyable as last time. Maybe I should actually get an x-ray. Bottom line, don't bike when you're tired.

When we get back on wednesday I'm going to dig into Anthony's $1 Pizza $1 Beer. I'm excited for that.

Nothing else is really going on. I have, however, discovered that going downtown to the hot spots in Denver sucks. I went to Lodo's last night for my friend Will's 22nd and I'm glad I got to see him but the spot was pretty lame. Way too many people, way way way too many drunk people, and terrible music. I'll just have to wait until tuesday after next to go find the cool dives with the bike crew at loops. They always go to bars and I'm sure they know the good (and cheap) ones.

Super Summer Slams Pt. 1

Playlist:
In For The Kill - La Roux
Lisztomania - Phoenix
Night Drive With You (Grum Remix) - Anoraak
Night Watcher - Alan Braxe
Lost Ones - Lauryn Hill
Toulon - Terje Bakke
Going Down - DJ Lobsterdust
Into The Nightlife (Soulseekers Version) - Cyndi Lauper
You know what? I don't want to type all this out. It's still nice out and I'd rather be picking up supplies for the trip tomorrow or something. You figure it out. Most of the title of the song is on the file name on mediafire and if you want to know what the song sounds like before downloading it just use Hypem or Youtube or something.

Super Summer Slams Pt. 2

enjoi the music. I have.

BONUS

I've got some new stuff that I think is pretty good and It's not on the SSS playlist so I'll throw it on here:

Worst I Ever Had (Drake) - Elephant Man
This song is hillarious. And since the drake song is pretty fun by itself, it's a winning combo. Must hear.

Open Porse - Diverseconcepts
This one made me feel like I was back in 10th grade listening to The Album Leaf. But instead of being all downtempo, there's a good beat behind it that carries the song and makes it party worthy or background worthy.

Slip And Slide (Scream And Shout Recordings Original Mix) - Micha Moor
Kinda long, but alot of cool sounds. Interesting for sure.
