New York Ho!

So I'm going to be on a plane for The City in about 8 hours. I'm stoked. Like a flame. Check out this tilt-shift of NYC:

I'm sure the whole week will be filled with much mayhem and much exploration of a place that I've been but never fully seen. After I finish with this post I'm going to write all of the non-MICEFA people that are there just cause some of them I haven't seen in a really long time and would like to. Like Soph, for example.

But now my mind is cluttered. And so is this poor writing. I don't know what I even want to write. Oh! I sent a check for my apartment in Vail today. Hopefully they get it before someone else signs on to the place. I think it's the best place. They have possible covered parking and I would be able to walk to work if I wanted to. If not, the bus comes Right there. It's a pretty sick place. And my old man has agreed to pay for the rent until I can find someone I like to fill the second room. Which is awesome cause I can pick the person I would like to live with for a year so I don't end up with a weirdo or dirtbag or something. Hopefully it works out.

I've searched everything I feel and nothing has come up. I Shazamed it on my phone, googled it, youtubed it with all the different keywords and everything. No results. And it's driving me mad cause it's so pop-y and electro...and I like it. Plus...this chick is singing to me. So if you can come up with anything Please tell me. Thanks in advance.

First it's Santi. I mean it doesn't take alot from her anyway but Benny Blanco has simply massacred this beat. It will send shivers. Trust me. It's just SOOOO short. Which sucks. But it's still very much worth your download.

Second it's a track Marc sent me a while back that, after careful consideration, is a near perfect song. It's absolutely incredible. Again, I can't say enough about RCRDLBL. They really do find some gems. Her voice matches the building drums that creep on you and hold on tight. Another chill-sender. Get it.

Third, we have good ol' Imogen in all her Heap of weird named glory. (Get it??) It's a pretty awesome tune as well. Kinda fits the beautiful uneasiness that the other two have as well. "You know you're better than this..."

(Edit - I just watched the video for Headlock and much more of the original cae through in the remix than I thought. Chicka kills it on the production of her stuff. FiSK didn't have far to go to make it excellent.)


So those should hold you for a week. Well, they probably won't but there's nothing I can do about it.
