Sorry about the drought.

It's not that I dont have music to share. It's not that at all. I have alot of it that I feel everyone who likes aural pleasures should get to enjoy. I have just been really uninterested in posting stuff...and i've been quite busy.

Lets start with this:
I found this this morning and was jamming it almost all day in my head. I want the album.

If you've been following recent events, you know that I recently sprained my ankle so hard that Rajon Rondo himself would be proud. (He's been breaking ankles frequently in the post season.) The pain was really intoxicating the first 4 days but it's settled down now. Unfortunately, I had a glass of whiskey yesterday and it made my leg start throbbing. So i'm going to assume that alcohol is bad for the intense bruising that has colored my foot yellow, green, red, and purple. That being said, I will not be participating in many celebratory measures this weekend. I guess that's for the best though. Exams are calling my name.

Hum... what to start with?
How about the fun GlassCandy type vibes of Rainbow Arabia. This song is fun. It will make you smile. I guarantee it.

Holiday In Congo - Rainbow Arabia

Next, lets go with something real rad and kinda less fun but at least as good. I really like this song even though I admit to not knowing about it until I saw the Hype Skateboards am promo I recently threw on facebook. This is really alternative music at its best if you ask me...and you did ask me. Because the lyrics are rather incomprehensible at first, second, or third listen, you can find them here.

Hit The Wall - Brendan Canning (of the Broken Social Scene)

I would like to now take a break to say how dissapointed I was with the May Days concert this evening. If anyone reading this goes to DU, I'm telling you that you're going to be hardpressed to get a better show than the RJD2 hour and 45 minute marathon two years ago. That was incredible. And now, DUPB has decided that they will get a headliner that isn't even the one they advertised and call it good when that headliner starts a few minutes late and ends 20 minutes early. I have heard that Shiny Toy Guns puts on a good show. But I certainly wouldn't know it based on their DJ side-project HybriDigital. In fact, I'm not even going to post a link. Thats how dissapointed I am of their slacker-ass performance. Way to kill the vibe you greedy ass-clowns. And DUPB, next time advertise that it's not actually going to be the band but their side-project that won't play any recognizable tunes. Thanks for ruining my last May Days.

Moving on, I would like to post something that will blow your mind. It is ridiculously crunk. And it is by the one, the only, Tum Tum and the rest of the crew of DSR. I got this mixtape and it was hard for me to not re-injure myself getting retardedly crunk. Enjoi.

Out Wreck Us - Tum Tum

For the last one, I would like to point you in the direction of my blogger friend White Folks Get Crunk. The hood internet mash-up of Trey Songz' "Say Ahh" with some rock band that I haven't heard of is rad. Almost as rad as the Rad Anthem. I want to party with Jack from Jack in the Box. Real Talk. So go Here and download that ho.

I guess that about raps that up.

Wait a sec, I'll post this one too. It's been a favorite song for background noise while writing papers as of late. It's kinda a deep cut, but I really like it's easy-going trancy chill vibe. Do work to this, or not. Your call. It's a keeper.

No More, Anymore! (Toes In The Sand Digital) Elusive Remix - Matthew Adams

Morning Edit.

I've been awake now longer than the total time I've slept in the past two days. And it's 7:32 am. What's up with this sleeping pattern? I'm tired but not that tired. I feel like i should be dead at this point but i'm just really in a deep thinking mood. Unfortunately, since i'm mentally fatigued, my deep thinking isn't leading anywhere. I've been listening to Thursday all morning though. I've gone through all of Full Collapse, War All The Time, & most of A City By The Light Divided at this point. I remember why I liked Thursday so much. They write stuff that makes you think. Thanks boys for being with me before most of the city is awake.
